The People Behind the Rover
30+ students from across NUS, united by a passion for robotics and space exploration.
Leadership
Mechanical Engineering
Leading the second batch of the NUS Mars Rover Team in our attempt to qualify for the first time from NUS and Southeast Asia for the University Rover Challenge.
Mechanical Engineering
Co-leading the NUS Mars Rover Team and developing quick & modular payload integration systems.
Chassis — Mechanical
Industrial Design
As an Engineer Designer, I specialize in Prototype → Product. With 10 years of CAD experience, I pursue a well orchestrated balance of design constraints and engineering requirements in a product that meets standards and exhibits excellence.

Chassis — Electrical
Electrical Engineering
Loves late-night peace, football, and good food. Always up for spontaneous hangouts and new adventures abroad. Reach out if you've got an internship, job, or a side quest to another country!
Electrical Engineering
I enjoy working on robotics and embedded systems, with a focus on building practical and reliable solutions.
GNSS & Comms
Electrical Engineering
Leads the architecture and integration of the rover's RF communications, antenna systems, and GNSS positioning, enabling long-range wireless command and telemetry, real-time data links, and reliable localization during operations.
Electrical Engineering
Responsible for developing and optimizing the electrical side of the communication subsystem for the NUS Mars Rover.

Robotic Arm
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Interested in robotics with a focus on mechanical design and system dynamics. Contributed to the project by designing the robotic arm and end effector, performing actuator and component selection, and improving motion stability through vibration reduction, damping, and iterative testing.
Electrical Engineering
Electrical Engineering student working on autonomous typing for the Mars Rover team. I lead the robotic arm's typing system using computer vision and ArUco markers. When I'm not coding robots, I'm probably catching up on sleep.
Mechanical Engineering
I like to build and fix stuff. I've been interested in robotics since primary school.
Electrical Engineering
Hardware builder obsessed with making electrons behave and machines move. I once almost set my lab on fire during a test, which felt like an honest introduction to hardware. Now I build robots, systems, and prototypes that survive slightly longer than my early experiments.
Autonomous Navigation
Computer Engineering
Someone who's not always thinking about engineering, but often thinking about how things fit together. I enjoy understanding how systems behave, where they break, and how they can be improved. Whether it's a prototype or a team project, I like building, iterating, and learning along the way.
Computer Engineering
I enjoy working hard when it matters the most and helping my teammates with any situation. I also enjoy playing video games a lot.
Computer Engineering
I enjoy software, logical reasoning and problem solving. Usually working on something new, debugging something old, or figuring out why a certain bug fixed itself.
Science
Electrical Engineering
Lifelong maker and hobbyist leading our science subsystem to greater heights in URC2026/27. Skilled in CAD, electronics and always open to learn new things, I intend to help create a competitive subsystem on the international stage.
Computer Engineering
Responsible for the Software and Electronics Integration of various parts of the Science Subsystem, and designing the GUI for operator control through the whole pipeline in the Science Mission.
Mechanical Engineering
I'm a Y2 ME student who enjoys CAD and mechanical design.

Environmental Studies
Hi all! I'm a year 2 environmental studies student doing minors in Geoscience and Geographic Information Systems. I am interested in geography, specifically physical geography, hence why I am helping out with the soil analysis portion of this project!
